CLIVE RIDOUT
Clive was born and bread in Cardiff, Wales, the United Kingdom. He has been a professional chef for almost 20 years - he started as a trainee chef at a French restaurant whose head chef/proprietor is the elite graduate of Cordon Bleu school in France. After having trained there for 6 years and studying at a local catering college for the theory side of cooking, he then went on to work at a Japanese restaurant and the award-wining Armless Dragon Restaurant in Cardiff in order to expand his vision and to develop new styles of cooking.
He has worked as a successful head chef, specialising in French and Mediterranean cuisine with a touch of Eastern taste, in several parts of England and Wales such as the Cornish Range in Mousehole, Cornwall. In year 2004,
Clive and Maki emigrated to Spain to take on a challenging project to start a rural accommodation with services.
