ABOUT EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL

Olive oil is extracted from the ripe purple-black olives.
Extra virgin olive oil has the flavour, aroma and smoothness of the highest quality.
Without any chemical processing or treatment.
No additives added.
100% natural, fresh golden fruit juice.
Rich in monounsaturated fats - most notably oleic acid, as well as vitamin E and polyphenols.
Monounsaturated fatty acids are believed to reduce risk of coronary heart disease.
Extra virgin olive oil contains polyphenol antioxidants that reduce some effects of aging.
Oleic acid increases the level of good cholesterol and reduces the bad cholesterol contained in animal fats.
Spain is the world's largest producer (40 per cent of world production).
85 percent of which is produced in Andalusia.
Our region has many award-winning, internationally renowned producers.
In Spain, on yearly average, 13 -14 liters of olive oil is consumed per person.

 

FOOD

BREAKFAST
Breakfast is served between 8-00 am and 10-00 am
With a choice of freshly squeezed fruit juice, a variety of home-baked bread, locally cured ham, cheeses, seasonal fruits and coffee or tea
Japanese style breakfast (grilled fish, rice, miso soup, pickles etc) is available on request at a small additional cost
DINNER
 
Using the finest freshest local produce as much as possible (a lot of the vegetables used are grown on our grounds), regional specialities, classic Mediterranean cuisine and chef' s original recipes are served in a dinner party style
3 or 5-course dinner is served from 8-00 pm, barbecues available in summer

Baked peaches with sweet almond stuffing with cinnamon parfait
